2025 Recap & 2026 Outlook

Summer 2025 is over. As the leaves are falling, we reflect on the 2nd edition of Arden2Eifel in August. All in all we are very happy with how everything went. We again had a very cool group of participants. The new start location was a good choice. The weather was nice (a bit too nice perhaps). But for us as organization the most important factor is that everybody stays safe. No big crashes or incidents happened, aside from some mechanical problems.

We saw 25 enthusiastic riders to the start in Namur of this warm edition. Especially the first 2 days the riders suffered from the heat, which became more bearable towards the 2nd half of the event. On the finish line we greeted 16 riders, which makes this edition having the highest percentage of finishers given our short history. Among the finishers we also saw a few gravel bike riders (we still recommend a mountainbike ;)) . Many stories were shared over the necessary beers. Memories were made for life. The start of the 2026 edition will take place on Thursday August 20th in Namur (at the youth hostel). The route will see some changes, but largely stays similar. Registration opens on October 15th!
