This year's edition saw it's close just over 2 months ago. With a lot of new faces, but also some recurring participants, we again had a nice field at the start. As always, the beautiful but erratic profile of the course made it a tough challenge.

Like every year, we followed the riders along the course. We mostly saw smiling faces all around, despite some rain and the challenges the course itself provided. Our staffed checkpoints provided welcoming anchor points on the route. Most did not stop for long however, set on covering more distance. Trier's Porta Nigra again delivered the best finish arch possible. Our first finisher Tijl managed to deliver a new course record of 53 hours 59 minutes.
